Brandon Smith is the face of and oversees the daily operations of Mid-Hudson Security Consultants, LLC.
Mr. Smith is a seasoned professional who has been in the security and public safety industry for over 25 years now.
In his earlier years, Mr. Smith attended community schooling while joining the Boy Scouts of America, Naval Sea Cadet Program, US Army JROTC, and a Youth Leadership Program with a federal agency. Mr. Smith then attended a local university where he majored in criminal justice. Thereafter, he attended an internship with another federal agency.
During his schooling, Mr. Smith received the President's Choice Education Award. Mr. Smith was then nominated top of his class by President Bill Clinton (United States of America) and Lieutenant General Daniel W. Christman (US Army) to the National Youth Leadership Board for National Security. He then continued on to earn additional credits in physical security and cyber defense while participating in the US Army ROTC University.
Over the years as he advanced into a career of service, a debilitating accident immediately put an end to him advancing his career in federal law enforcement.
Mr. Smith was awarded 2 life save awards in addition to many other prestigious commendations from state, local, and federal agencies for merit and devotion to duty. Mr. Smith continues to work alongside local and state law enforcement dealing with police reform, use of force, and community policing.
Throughout the years, Mr. Smith has worked in contract security business development, client relations, and field operations for the various agencies by choice in order to gain enough experience to run his own security company.
While working in the security industry, Mr. Smith has developed comprehensive policies and procedures for unarmed and armed professionals throughout the world in:
